  • Author: Emily Cooks
  • Total Time: 20 minutes
  • Yield: 1 cup 1x

Description

A light, fluffy, and healthy alternative to whipped cream. Perfect as a topping for desserts, a base for dips, or a quick snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup Greek Yogurt (full-fat recommended)
  • 12 tablespoons Sweetener (honey, maple syrup, or powdered sugar)
  • ½ teaspoon Flavoring (optional, vanilla extract, lemon zest, etc.)

Instructions

1. Chill the bowl and beaters in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes.

2. Place the chilled Greek yogurt into the cold mixing bowl.

3. Beat the yogurt with a mixer on medium speed for 1-2 minutes until smooth.

4. Gradually add the sweetener while the mixer is running on low speed.

5. Add flavoring (if using).

6. Increase the mixer speed to medium-high and beat until soft or stiff peaks form.

7. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Notes

For a thicker consistency, add ¼ teaspoon of unflavored gelatin before whipping. For savory variations, try adding herbs, spices, or roasted red peppers.
