Ingredients

  • 1 cup diced mango
  • 1 cup diced pineapple
  • 1 medium sliced banana
  • 1/2 cup coconut water
  • 1/2 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1/2 cup yogurt (Greek or regular) – optional
  • 1/2 cup juice (orange or pineapple) – optional
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds – optional
  • 1 scoop protein powder – optional
  • A handful of spinach – optional
  • A small piece (about 1/2 inch) peeled ginger – optional

Instructions

1. Wash, peel, and chop the mango and pineapple into bite-sized pieces. Slice the banana.

2. Add the liquid base (coconut water, milk, yogurt, or juice) to your blender first.

3. Add the chopped mango, pineapple, and banana. Add any optional add-ins.

4. Blend everything on high speed until smooth and creamy (30-60 seconds).

5. If the smoothie is too thick, add more liquid. If it’s too thin, add ice or frozen fruit.

6. Taste and adjust sweetness as needed with honey or maple syrup.

Notes

Variations include Green Tropical Smoothie (add spinach/kale), Berry Tropical Smoothie (add frozen berries), Mango Coconut Tropical Smoothie (use coconut milk and lime juice). Adjust sweetness to your liking. For a thicker smoothie, use frozen fruit.
