A quick, healthy, and refreshing cherry smoothie perfect for any time of day. Easy to customize with your favorite ingredients!
Ingredients
- 1 cup Cherries (fresh or frozen, pitted)
- 1/2 medium Banana, ripe
- 1/2 cup Liquid (milk, yogurt, or juice)
- Optional: Honey or maple syrup (to taste)
- Optional: Handful of Spinach
- Optional: Scoop of Protein Powder
Instructions
1. Wash and pit fresh cherries if using. Peel and slice the banana.
2. Combine cherries, banana, and liquid in a blender. Add any optional ingredients.
3. Blend on low speed, then increase to high. Blend until smooth (1-2 minutes).
4. Taste and adjust sweetness/thickness. Add more liquid for thinner consistency, frozen fruit or ice for thicker.
5. Pour into a glass and enjoy!
Notes
Use frozen cherries for a thicker smoothie. Fresh cherries will require ice. Adjust sweetness with honey or maple syrup. Add spinach or protein powder for extra nutrients. Substitute banana with applesauce or other soft fruit.
