Description
A deconstructed cannoli! Creamy ricotta and mascarpone cheese are blended with sweet and citrus flavors. This cannoli dip is easy to make and perfect for any party.
Ingredients
- 15 ounces full-fat ricotta cheese
- 8 ounces mascarpone cheese
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon orange zest
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
- Crushed cannoli shells (for serving)
- Chopped pistachios (for garnish) (optional)

1. Drain the ricotta cheese using cheesecloth or a fine-mesh sieve.
2. In a large bowl, beat the ricotta and mascarpone cheeses until smooth and creamy.
3. Gradually add the powdered sugar, vanilla extract, orange zest, and cinnamon. Mix until well combined and smooth.
4. Gently fold in the mini chocolate chips.
5. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
6. Transfer the cannoli dip to a serving bowl and garnish with chopped pistachios (if using). Serve with crushed cannoli shells or other dippers.
Notes
Adjust powdered sugar for desired sweetness. Make sure to drain the ricotta. If the dip is too thick, add milk or cream. Variations: Chocolate, Espresso, Nutella, and Lemon Cannoli Dip.
