A quick and easy Acai Bowl recipe you can make at home! Customize it with your favorite fruits, granola, and toppings for a healthy treat any time of day.


Ingredients

  • 2 (100g) unsweetened acai packets
  • 1/41/2 cup of liquid (almond milk, regular milk, coconut water, or apple juice)
  • 1/2 cup of frozen fruit (bananas, berries, or mangoes)
  • Sliced bananas (to taste)
  • Strawberries (to taste)
  • Blueberries (to taste)
  • Kiwi (to taste)
  • Granola (to taste)
  • Almonds (to taste)
  • Chia seeds (to taste)
  • Flax seeds (to taste)
  • Shredded coconut (to taste)
  • Honey (to taste)
  • Maple syrup (to taste)
  • Agave (to taste)
  • Chocolate chips (to taste)
  • Peanut butter (to taste)
  • Nutella (to taste)
  • Mango (to taste)
  • Pineapple (to taste)
  • Coconut water (to taste)
  • Pineapple juice (to taste)
  • Spinach (to taste)
  • Kale (to taste)
  • Avocado (to taste)
  • Lemon juice (to taste)
  • Sunflower seeds (to taste)
  • Pumpkin seeds (to taste)
  • Hemp seeds (to taste)

Instructions

1. Break up the frozen acai packets into smaller pieces.

2. Put the acai pieces, frozen fruit, and liquid into a blender.

3. Blend on low speed, gradually increasing to high. Scrape down the sides as needed.

4. Add liquid (1 tbsp at a time) if too thick, or more frozen fruit if too thin.

5. Pour the blended acai mixture into a bowl.

6. Arrange sliced fruit on top of the acai base.

7. Sprinkle granola, nuts, seeds, or other toppings over the fruit.

8. Drizzle with honey, maple syrup, or agave (optional).

Notes

Can be customized for tropical, green, nut-free, dairy-free, and gluten-free diets. Thaw acai slightly for easier blending.
